so apparently we supposed to get the demo tonight for those who preloaded.
anyone know anything?

Delayed a couple of times now. Was supposed to be 3pm PST Tuesday, then it was 2am Wednesday, now it looks like it's 4pm Wednesday.

oh wait whats this.. game is preloading again?????????? someone else check their steam i already downloaded the demo the other night and now its preloading.

For those who preordered the 360 version at GameStop/EB, do you get a voucher to download the demo? I've heard the demo will be available to the public next week, but those who preordered can access the demo now. I never got any voucher from them - it looks like it's a US only exclusive. Damn :(

Ahh, might as well wait until next week when the demo officially comes out. Thanks though.

if anyone is having problems downloading demo like others... ie. download stops. error download not avail now try later. steam error. blob error. slow download.

dont be alarmed this is always the case when a new release comes out. you can fix this by doing the following.

go to your computer control panel in programs and features(vista) or add and remove programs(xp) and instead of uninstalling his repair while selecting steam. you will need the steam installer to do this you can get it here. http://storefront.steampowered.com/download/SteamInstall.msi

once you repair steam open the steam client and this time click file then settings. then downloads. then on this tab select your download speed and then change your download region to another location other then the one selected and hit apply. you can change locations as many times as you like until you find a location that gives you the download at a steady speed.

steam repairs are only needed if you are getting download errors or if your download stops for no reason or if steam closes and gives a blob error.
