What are some good asian films?

Some of my favorite movies are asian films and having only seen a few, I'm sure there's other incredible movies out there. Can anyone suggest me some action/drama/thriller films?

I've seen:

Japanese
I Just Didn't do It - loved it.
Battle Royale 1 & 2 - didn't particularly enjoy the second, but the first is one of my top 5 films of all time.

Korean
Old Boy - also top 5.
Sympathy for Mr Vengeance - loved it.
Sympathy for Lady Vengeance - was okay.

Chinese
Hard Boiled - also top 5.

And then there's Jet Li films strewn about but that's like saying Kung Pow was a Chinese movie.

Chinese:

My favorite is "House of Flying Daggers". I really love this movie.

the entire young and dangerous saga.

its about gangsers growing up in hong kong and then triad life and drama of that world.

Korean film "Chingu" (aka "Friend") definitely left a big impression. I haven't seen it in years and yet, I still remember it well. Wish I had a copy of that flick. Would love to see it again.

Kuch Kuch Hota Hai - sad romantic flick
Qurbani- old school Bollywood with great soundtrack
Coolie- one of my favourite Amitabh Bachan movies

I've heard good things about Ong Bak & Ong Bak 2. Haven't gotten around to watching them yet.

Redcliff is a good chinese movie, but it is 2 parts and around 4.5 hours. I think it has the highest production value of a movie produced in China.
