I'm going to Montreal this Halloween weekend. Does anyone know where I can get a room for under $50?

you can likely get a hotel on Priceline for under $50

ive found priceline and hotwire to not offer such great rates for Montreal. At least not compared to the deals you get in the US.

Anyways, you could stay in one of these private cabins at a hostel. Downside is they use air mattresses but its all made of wood and smells pretty nice. The hostels clean and has a great common room / kitchen. Not dirty or dingy and right in beautiful old montreal.

$27.50 per person per night for the private 2 person cabin, or $18 per person per night in the dormitory. They have privacy sheets over each bed in the dorm, not many hostels do that.

Hotwire is showing 2* at the airport for $49 and 3* for $54 - Oct 30 - Nov 1. Priceline is usually cheaper than Hotwire

What area will you be spending time in?

There are motels in NDG (10-15 mins from downtown by car or public transport) that you could probably reserve for that much.

Rooms around $69 a night, right downtown, super close to the bus terminal and the metro.

I would be spending time near Concordia, but I will be also be going everywhere also. I am driving so getting around wouldn't be an issue. I will be with a friend so we are aiming for less that $50 for the both of us per night. The more I could save, the more I could spend partying in this great city!
