I actually remember my cousin bringing home this "strange" drink when i was in grade 6... 1996 to be exact.
I thought it was soooo strange. It later became the hip trend called "bubble tea". I think it was in East Asia in the early 90s too.

It kinda reminds me of those grass jelly drinks with the little jello bits.

So Canadians brought bubble tea??!! LoL it was developed by a canadian company.

My sister worked at a pharmacy which was selling these for 50 cents. I used to go home after school and buy like 10 of them for the week.

edit: oh and i had a Clearly Canadian unopened bottle for years, until it broke.

BTW I hated orbitz. I tried it once and never again. I was hooked on Clearly Canadian though....I completely forgot about it until I saw the picture above.

Yep, still floats. I wouldn't drink it though, that's insane. Mine is out at room temperature though.

What's so special about Clearly Canadian again?

There's gotta someone on Youtube with a video of someone drinking this...Or someone here should make one!

iirc, clearly canadian was just flavoured water... i had one years ago, i think it was orange flavoured. (well i remember the bottle being orange) it was quite good, not like the usual flavoured water that's so popular nowadays. i wasn't aware that it wasn't sold anymore... it's a shame.

i remember i bought it at the convenience store near T&T in mississauga.

don't they still make Clearly Canadian? the bottle/labeling has changed but i'm certain it's still around...
