I figured this needs a fresh thread instead of going through the old Sept one

So U2 will be returning to Toronto on July 3rd, 2010

Presale for Tickets are tomorrow
Hopefully we can get the presale code again

Public Sale is Nov. 2nd

That's great for Toronto. It's an awesome show...watched it on Youtube last night when they streamed their show at the Rose Bowl. I wonder if they have Vancouver slated in 2010?

So far the only other Canadian date in 2010 is Edmonton June 23rd

I got an email from U2.com last night.

They are also going to have a show in Montreal on July 16th. Tickets will go on sale soon.

Hey all -- I'm new on the boards

Saw U2 on YouTube last night. Great show, amazing stream! It didn't stutter on me once.

If someone gets the promo code for the Toronto show, please post :)

wow Bono hits up our government for money when they blow that much on moving their shows around.. lol

I noticed they announced an Edmonton show too.. so I'll go. I saw popmart in 97 in vancouver and at gm place a few years go.

I liked the Arena shows a little better. They had a walkway, but it was more stripped down and about the music. The popmart show, we were so far back in bc place, I couldn't tell if edge or bono was singing sunday bloody sunday (it was actually edge).

They sent me a code which they said was specific to my Bills In Toronto account but when I try to use it the message says code not found in system.

you should get a specific link to the ticketmaster site and then enter your code. You can't just go onto to ticketmaster without the link. If it works please pass the the code on after you get your tickets.

I'm using the link but the code doesn't seem to work. Apparently someone, somewhere has screwed up. I'm on hold with Ticketmaster right now to see if they will help me over the phone.

apparently there's a blue jays presale going on, i've been trying to get the password for that. thats how i got in last time, hoping it happens again :cheesygri

There might be a bunch of different set of bluejay presale codes then or there is only a certain allotment.
I didn't take the chance this time and just became a member which I was planning to do long time ago

not sure, but "The password you entered is not in our system. Please try again. " thats the message i get from ticketmaster.

There is a bunch of different passwords
I had registered on the U2 site and my password only allowed for 4 tix
If you try it after the 4 tickets have been purchased then it won't allow you with that same password
so some passwords may have been posted by people who arn't using all of their allotment

bet i'll try and get Tix for July 3rd...

Judging by the date between shows I wouldn't be suprised if
they added a second show if the first one sells out fast.

If you want tickets in advance of the public sale, you can now purchase up to 4 tickets at seemingly all price points with a fan club membership.

I paid $204.50 for 2 General Admissions.

It was for the yesterday for the u2.com members so would probably be the same across the board

i was able to get better seats than i did with the jays pre-sale the last time.

Im surprised as of 6pm tickets in the lower levels are still available.

I got two pairs of tickets this morning, one pair in section 225 and the other pair in section 538 but in the first couple of rows. I went to the Sept. 17 show and I feel either tickets will offer a good view of the show so now to decide which to keep - closer but a bit higher or lower level but a bit further back.

I was also able to buy tickets in section 106 but decided against those seats.

got 3 general admission tickets.

how early did people start showing up for the september shows to line up outside? i believe once the doors open, its a mad dash for securing good spots near the stage?

its also a weekend this time around, so you guys think people will show up earlier?

also, on a side note, i hope Bono sounds more inspired this time around. i was watchign the youtube livecast, and felt that bono did too much running around, and less singing as a result as he was out of breath a few times.

i wish they perform like they did at slane castle. if you don't know what i'm talking about, hit up youtube, and search for 'where the streets have no name slane castle'

I had GA Seats for the Sept 17th show... I showed up about 1 hour before and managed to make my way to about 10metres from the Stage.. No pressure or anything... People respected your same... Awesome show... I've seen U2 6 times and that was one of the top 2 shows..

I usually don't like floors but the stage is such that you see everything No prob.
