Free screening - Earthlings - tonight

"Paul York (Students Against Climate Change) and myself welcome each and every one of you to watch the documentary Earthlings with us. Joaquin Phoenix narrates and Moby supplies the music. Earthlings is the most controversial and underground movie ever made, showing the relationship between animals and people. Filmmaker Shaun Monson has been told that his film will never be shown on television or in theaters (it's almost like they are trying to hide something from us!), so this is your chance. Yeah, you could stay at home and watch it on-line, but you know damn well that's no fun. We will have great snacks and great people (for eating and meeting, in that order), so mark it on your calendar and we'll see ya there!
7pm to about 7:30pm is our time for eating and socializing. We will get the lights dimmed and the movie rolling after that. I am happy to announce that our good friend Paul Figueiras will be introducing the film and preparing us all for the epic journey."
