Hi Everyone,
My wife, who is 17 weeks pregnant, has started to look for a maternity winter jacket, with little to no success.
We have gone to several Thyme Maternity stores (Square One, Burloak, Lime Ridge Mall) and there is absolutely nothing left.
oldnavy.com and gap.com both have some great options with good reviews, but neither ship to Canada.
Wondering if anybody has any other suggestions, it would be much appreciated.

There is a maternity section in the Old Navy in Limeridge mall. Did you check there?
Also, there is a Ricki's on Rymal Road in Hamilton that carries maternity clothes. You could call them and see if they have any winter coats - they have tons of non-maternity ones right now so that store will most likely have maternity ones too.

You can also try Motherhood Maternity, if there is a location near you

I just got a bigger one, parka style down jacket and it worked. I find maternity style jacket/coat are not warm enough since I took public transportation to work.

+1 for Old Navy. My wife just bought herself a maternity coat there this weekend after looking at all the other usual mat stores with no success.

My wife had a couple - just lent 'em to our nextdoor neighbour who is due in Dec. While they were both nice jackets, she found it much easier (and warmer) to simply wear my jackets - if you don't mind the oversized look (she's 5'6 / 115lbs (non-preg obviously!), I'm 6'1 / 200lbs) and pushing up the sleaves a bit! Probably won't work if you're looking for real style, though.... ;)

You save money too......pregnant woman tend to do that anyways....if you cant find anything affordable....have her try some of your clothes.....

Saw this at dear born baby:
http://dearbornbaby.blogspot.com/2009/11/buy-coat-get-free-carrier.html
When you buy an MCoat at our store (see our review on it here!) you will get a FREE Baby Bjorn Orignal carrier that has a value of $129.99* - how amazing is that!? (Sale is in-store only)
Now is the perfect time to come into the store and find your perfect size for the coat. We know that the weather outside this weekend here in Toronto isn't screaming "winter jacket weather" - but let's face it, we're inching closer to December, when you'll really, really love a warm comfy coat.
Here are the details that you should know, prior to coming in:
Buying In-Store: We have stocked one coat in each size, so you can come into the store and find the jacket size that is perfect for you. After finding the perfect size, we need 3-5 days to get your jacket in to the store, in the colour, and size that you have ordered. (So although we stock some, so you can try them on, you can't leave the "same day" with the jacket)
Promotional Details:
Between now, and Sunday, November 22, 2009, when you buy a M Coat ($399.99) you get a Free Baby Bjorn Orignal carrier, Retail value $129. Promotion is only valid in-store at 72 Doncaster Avenue, Thornhill, Ontario. Carrier has no cash value, and is non-returnable, or exhangeable for other merchandise.
