If i can order it, can i watch it in canada (toronto)? I just asked a representative on NBA league pass broadband international, and they asked me to go talk to the people at the regular NBA league pass broadband station. Can some1 tell me if it will work? thanks

this will work in canada but games that are on canadian tv are blacked out and also there are no playoffs - also when i tried this last year the quality wasnt that great but id think the faster your internet is the better quality it will be...

NBA LP broadband is useless if you want to watch raptors games..they black them all out

You'd be better off finding a site that streams the games live

sopcast is pretty good for live streaming games...

bumping this cause there is a free trial until nov 3rd...just tried it and it looks like they improved it this year...

- both games i tried are in 16:9 and look better than last year when i tried
- they added pvr functions
- not sure how the blackouts work cause im watching cleveland vs toronto and its the score hd broadcast?

im going to try and hook my laptop up to my hdtv and see how it looks...does anyone know if they would allow something like this to be shared? ie. two ip addresses using it at once?

Also wondering this, that would be good to do with someone else on the forums. I'm using it right now with the free preview. Really liking the quality, much better than 95% of the p2p streams. Thinking of possibly buying the 7-team package for $89, assuming the ip workarounds fix the blackout issue. The biggest pain is that all nationally televised games (TNT, espn, etc.) are not shown on LP, but I could just use jtv for that.

And what would be your plan for the Playoffs? Just wondering, as I assume you are doing this for the same reason that I am thinking of doing this, so as to not have to pay for Cable TV...

FYI http://www.atdhe.net/ is the best place I found for p2p sports. No hassles and fake links leading you to ads.

I'd be using the link posted above, which I did last season. The streams are decent, but quality is definitely lower than LP broadband. And you are correct, no cable, so the only games I get are the CBC weekend matches.

Yeah, I basically find cable tv to be completely useless. I download my shows. The only reason I have it is becuase I am living at home, but it's my last year of university so (given I find a job lol) I won't have it after this May.

Streams get to be a pain sometimes, I found that they went down a lot last year in the playoffs. Would be nice if I could just order the 3-4 channels I need, but that sort of plan will probably never exist.

there is a chance that with hotspot shield you would be able to circumvent the blackout

this worked last year and so far this year.

-Use Hotshield to log in.
-Startup the game
-Once stream is going disconnect from hotshield.

With Hotshield, it is very slow and buffers alot. So basically you are only using it to connect. I believe it only checks your IP at the beginning when you start it up.

I am not sure if its because I am from Vancouver (can't get Rogers LP). I was able to watch the free preview. I was going to take advantage of the 10% discount last night but when I tried to subscribe it with my credit card, it just kept returning:

"Please correct the following errors and try again.
Sorry, we were unable to process your request."

There was nothing wrong with any of the info I put in (name, address, credit card numbers). I even tried two different credit cards.

Anyone tried to subscribe to NBA LP broadband from Canada and succeed?

They have a mobile version for the iphone and android. unfortunately it isn't available in canada. It's 40 bucks and would be perfect if there was a way to make it work here. Hopefully they'll make it available, if not, there is hotspotshield for iphone, but I can't seem to get it to work. Anyone have any luck with that?
