I haven't been on here in a couple days but my latest baking was making some fudge.
The store I used to buy fudge from closed and the fudge stand is expensive and not that great.
So I thought I'd try making some fudge.
I have made some before but not in the past year or 2 and never in the microwave.
I used a recipe from Eagle Brand and some chocolate chips.
Also added some walnuts and it turned out good.
I don't like the chocolate chips I used this time as much though- they were Nestle milk chocolate. A bit too sweet.
Last time I think I used hershey that was semi sweet or dark.
I put the fudge in the fridge for 2 hours,but it would also be nice as a topping on some brownies if it is not too thick.

if you make this I would only microwave the chocolate chips 1 minute at a time as they melt extremely quick.
