The search is gone at the Steam forums too, maybe it's a new version?

We are/were having server issues. Had to turn it off. Will turn it back on soon.

It's weird though because the mobile forums worked on my phone.

I wasn't able to get on at all yesterday, the entire day.

It's weird though because the mobile forums worked on my phone.

And I was getting the emails from the threads I subscribe to, that was the only reason I knew RFD hadn't crashed or something, cuz that's what I thought when I couldn't get on for the whole day. Wierd yesterday that's for sure...lol.

It was a DNS issue that was only effecting a portion of users.

It was really hard to track down unfortunately.

Ryan, this begs the question: would you guys(/girls) like to be notified by users if something like this happens? Since we can't post the problem, is there an e-mail address you would want to be notified at?

Not sure if this would in any way be beneficial to you or not, or instead just flood your inbox.

Could the minimum time interval between searches possibly be decreased? say, 5 seconds? A search on a text database as small as RFDs shouldn't take more than a couple hundredths of seconds of compute time, and the whole index can be held in RAM.
