help me with the title of this movie..

so last week I was working from home and some movie was on in the background...I didn't catch the title but only saw the last half...

I'd say it was a drama sorta "coming of age' type movie....

It was about some hippy type pot growers who sorta took in this straight edged suit guy and taught him the biz the suit somehow met them through some hippy chick who accidently stranded him there...there was drama between the suit and his father...and the pot grower and his pot growing dad...

and then of course the narcs come on in and it's a bit political....

it seemed really good and I'd love to see it but my vague recollections aren't helping google find it...anyone have any idea what im talking about?

I had thought mark ruffalo was in it but am evidently wrong...

no...that movie has nothing to do with marijuana...and the storyline is nothing even remotely similar to what I described....

Lol, no wonder I couldn't find it - I was using search keywords marijuana, hippie, and drama, whereas the movie includes "comedy". Who knew searching could be so detailed. :razz:
