Poker Facebook Application Giving Away PS3’s + More

There's a new poker application on Facebook that's giving away some great prizes right now. There's PS3's, Bose home theater systems, daily iTune and Amazon.com gift-cards, all kinds of great stuff. All you have to do is be logged in to the application and playing and the prize winners are picked randomly throughout the players while you play. You don't even have to be that good at poker!!

Nothing is free when an "application" has access not only to *all* of your personal data but also all of your friends' personal data, including birthdays, anniversaries, what you buy, what you wear, and that picture of you getting toasted last weekend.

Would you give this information to your best friend? Someone you met in a bar? Someone with a big "identity theft" sign around their neck? No. Don't.

Not free. Not a good idea.

It's actually a really good application, especially if you're into poker. I've been on it quite a bit playing and when there's prizes involved it's even better. I really wouldn't be worried about "personal data" or anything like that.
