Before 2007, a beef Mr Noodles bag was my favorite snack. The soup is just to die for. I'm a VERY picky eater, and also consider myself a food critic. If I was in a restaurant, and they served me the beef Mr.Noodle's soup as a soup in a restaurant, I would think that is a ridiculously expensive soup, because it is unbelievably good. Perfect salt, and taste. I can go on and on raving about how perfect the soup is.

Around 2007, the beef Mr. Noodles changed. There were more noodles, but the flavor bag changed. The soup now tastes horrible.

I like the cup beef Mr. Noodle as well. They changed the flavor bag as well in 2006, which had more vegetables, but tasted disgusting. They changed it back in 2007 for about a year. Then they switched it back to the disgusting one.

I haven't have Mr.Noodles since then. I crave for the old Mr.Noodle. Has it changed? I don't know why they changed their PERFECT (which is the only food I've given a perfect to) flavor, absolutely brilliant, and they changed it to some disgusting one. Why???

I hope they've reverted it back.

I know everyone has their own food preferences.

No offense, but Food Critic =/= Mr.Noodles!

I ate Mr.Noodles when I was a kid, but not anymore because they are better ones in the market.

Even No Name branded instant noodles are better tasting than Mr.Noodles. :|

The soup base tastes funny and the noodles are soapy and soggy.

Who said food critics can't have instant noodles?

The noodles' are not special. The original soup is. Well, it fit my taste perfectly.

true, but really there are so many 'non-north american' brands of isntant noodles out there

If you haven't tried those, you haven't tried instant noodles. Try nissin or nong shim at your local 'asian' food mart.

lol...you are not alone in doing that...I've seen someone else (non-asian person) eat the noodles raw without the seasoning right from the bag out of preference....each to their own.

I remember when i was a child in elementary school... I saw the white kids at school doing this.

I did it at home and my parents yelled at me for being such a weird kid.
I said "but the kids at school do it. It taste good."
and they said "no they don't. that is so strange!!! If you want noodles ask us to cook it for you."

I lived on Mr. Noodles when I was a kid, but now I'm getting older and most fried noodle products make my stomach upset, except for maybe Sapporo Ichiban.

These days it is Chef Woo for me with chopped up squid balls, crab balls, and shrimp.

I sometimes eat this as a penny pinching student. It's not bad price wise. Usually $0.25 bag of soup, a sandwich, and a salad make for a good dinner. But, I can get way more food out of a dollar of pasta (900 g).

A ziploc bag? We would just crush them in the actual Mr. Noodles packaging and then open it up to get the soup base and mix it in there. Even more ghetto.

ya exactly that works too.. tried to use the ziploc bag when possible so you could see the spots where all the seasoning built up and tastes like eating pure salt

HAHA! Same. Back in elementary school – that used to be the ‘in” thing for a snack.
Not going to lie – I ate some raw not to long ago! Oh, the nostalgia :cheesygri
