I'm having a meeting Monday with about 20 people and we're looking for a good restaurant to go to in the Hwy 400 and Hwy 7 area of Toronto (Vaughan). Looking for AYCE Japanese or Korean BBQ if possible. Anything close by there or slightly south. We have to be by the Yorkdale Shopping Centre area at about 8 pm so even something south on the way there works.
Thanks for suggestions.

oh yeah, if you have another good suggestion for about $15-20 a head that's not Japanese or Korean fire away.

There's Makimono, an AYCE Japanese restaurant.

Near the Milestones/Kelseys/Toys R Us. I think the plaza is called Windflower Gate. Anyhow, north side of Hwy 7, just west of Weston Rd.

Keele and Finch on the south east corner. The sushi is not the best but it's sushi nonetheless. They also have a Chinese buffet which is included in the price.

Koganei "NON-AYCE" Japanese - http://www.koganeisushi.com/. Friends who went there commented it's as good as Le Cafe Michi, Aoyama level.

Not Japanese or Korean......our workplace is a big fan of Our Thai @ the AMC Plaza (Highway 7/400)....it's really good thai food and not that expensive.

The restaurant is HUGE and should be able to easily accommodate 20 people (we have work lunches there all the time).

Otherwise I definitely vouch for Koganei or Makimono <- good places as well. Koganei's a little bit on the smaller side. If you're looking for teppanyaki, there's also Taste of Japan -> it's not as good as Koganaei and not AYCE, but it's pretty good.

I work in the area, and Makimoto might be the only Japanese place right on Highway 7 near the 400 but there are plenty others within a 5 minute drive away.

I love Ginza Sushi at Weston & Langstaff and there are plenty of Japanese places, all of which are good especially the Teppanyaki place near Rutherford & 400 just north of Vaughan Mills, but on the south side of Rutherford.
