If you haven't already seen or heard the press release, Rogers just launched 4 new Chinese - Mandarin Digital channels!!

Free preview until January 2010
LS Times on Channel 819
Chinese movies around the clock!


Free preview until December 1
Star Chinese Channel on Channel 820
Watch a range of general entertainment shows including game shows, talk shows and dramas!

Star Chinese Movies 2 on Channel 821
Classic Chinese movies from the 1970s to 1990s.

Channel [V] Taiwan on Channel 822
Catch your favourite entertainment shows directly from Taiwan and China!


From what we know, these channels are currently only on free preview in the GTA area.
Reminder: You must be subscribing to Rogers Digital cable to receive this.

I think its different channels in Markham, since Fairchild there is channel 36 but downtown GTA my Fairchild is somewhere pass channel 800 along with all the other chinese channels.

These free previews are only available in most of GTA. Markham, Richmond Hill, etc should be coming on next week!

I don't think its available to order yet. I called in and the rep said the pricing info should be ready closer to the end of the preview.

I have a question... has anyone else experience difficulties with 822 Channel V Taiwan? Because it seems to be working sometimes, but the screen freezes after watching for a few minutes...then it takes a long time "tuning" after which showing the message "channel is unavailable please try again later"...

They (LS Times) have been playing this movie (Laughing Gor's Turning Point) for more than 5 times throughout this week already.

Ane yes, next scheduled time is 2:55 AM (till 4:30 AM) on early Sunday.
