Help! I have 5 teenagers under 18yr who want to see the next UFC event with machida vs shogun. I don't have a digital box so can't get Pay-per-view. Can anyone suggest a restaurant or sports bar in Toronto that will let the kids in to see the fight. I will be buying drinks and wings etc.
thanks.

They'll never be allowed in a bar if they are under 19
Just stream the event

Boston Pizza, you'll just have to stay in the dinning room area

Word of advice: It starts getting packed early. I've had to (depending on the popularity of UFC @ the Boston Pizza) some are packed by 7:30. Done eating by 8:30-9pm, and sit there until midnight when the fights are all over.

In other words: You can't go there at 10pm (start of the event) and expect a seat, unless its a dead Boston Pizza.

Digital box costs a lot less than your dinner will.

It's the 90's time to get with the times.

you can try this site:

http://www.canadastarboxing.com/cstar-barnetwork.htm

It will tell you what bar/restaurant is showing the fight.

+1.

I've gone to watch in the dining area before too when I didn't/couldn't get a crowded spot at a bar.

I wish. Here they charge $10 everywhere per person for "cover". If there's more than 3 or 4 of us we just end up paying the stupid ppv fee or go to the casino's sports bar where it's free.

In the GTA Boston Pizza never charges. Philthy McNasty's does. Everything else is hit/miss...

$10 is a lot

That sucks!

One of the pubs I goes to charges $5 cover, but gives you a $5 coupon to use. Basically they just don't want free loaders. I always order a beer and app anyways, so it works out well.

+1, could never get a steady feed for several events, didn't know about the mma-tv subscription thing, may opt for that

how much better is mma tv vs sopcast, in terms of resolution/pic quality (sopcast never crashed on me yet)
