10 000 bonus points if you spend at least $50 in store. Expires November 6, 2009
2500 bonus points if you buy 2 or more Nexxus Products, Expires November 13, 2009
1000 bonus points if you buy any N07 or Botanics Product, Expires November 13, 2009
1000 bonus points if you buy any 2 Nestle Noir tablets, Expires November 13, 2009

When you buy something, it shows up on the bottom of your receipt. Something like..."you are XXXX points away from being a PLUS member"

If you have reached Plus status, it will say so on your receipt or when you check your points on the Optimum website. Once you collect 5000 pts, your receipt and the website will tell you how many more points you need to reach Plus status.

I think those coupons are person specific, anyone with plus status should only be able to use it once. All the plus member should receive the same coupon with the same code , but with different expiration date.

Note that it is also 10k in REGULAR points (20x bonus points, product bonus etc do not count). That means spending $1000.

My friend and I got his to Plus last year (I think we bought a couple Wiis so it made it easier), but this year, we're only up to 5400 points :( It only shows up on the receipt how close you are to Optimum Plus status for the next year when you cross 50% I think (as I did not see it on my receipt until the last purchase so I assume it's >50%)

Just got back from shopping. The Shoppers Drug Mart underground at Yonge & Bloor always starts the weekend promotions on Fridays.

As Vov86 mentioned, the 'Spend $75, Get 15000 Points' points are indeed added instantly.

I am an SDM Optimum Plus member. The cashier read over my Optimum Plus Coupon (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/sdm-optimum-plus-bonus-coupons-803590/) and scanned it with no problems. The 10 000 points from the Optimum Plus Coupon should hypothetically be added in November, we'll see what happens.

I went to SDM to take advantage of the 10,000 points coupon for optimum plus members, and get the bonus 15000 for buying $75 worth of merchandise.

I got the 15000 points instantly. The cashier scanned the 10000 points coupon. It says on the receipt that the coupon was scanned as:

"REWARD COUPON, OFFER # 07824 / 0 POINTS"

Does that mean I won't get the 10000 points by Nov. 18 because I already got the 15000 bonus points?

I'm not sure that is quite right. I have found by buying SDM GC's and then using them to purchase goods at SDM I actually accumulated base points twice as fast. Thus, you can achieve Plus membership with only $500 in purchases.

For example, I recently purchased an Acer netbook using points redemption (75k for $150) and $250 in SDM GC's. I did this during 20x points day.

Purchasing the $250 in GC's netted me 2,500 regular points. Purchasing the netbook netted me just over 2,030 regular points (I bought some chocolate bars, too) and 38,570 bonus points.

I actually bought the $200 in GC's on the same day (but a different time) as the netbook. So, I went from needing 4,900 regular points to only needing 870 after spending a total of $250+ that day.

You don't get points for the taxes which were pretty significant on the netbook, but this is definitely a way to achieve Plus membership at a faster rate.

It's on the front page of the flyer - Tuesday and Wednesday, 15% off or 15x points when you spend $50 or more.

People haven't been getting the coupon points when its been on a points day(they did when the original version of that coupon came out months ago, but not on later ones). clearly you aren't supposed to get both points multiple and the coupon. No one knows for sure if they'll mess up and award them anyway on any given day, but dont count on it and you won't know for some time afterward. The best bet at double dipping with it would be to use it on a day they are handing out a gift card.

Thanks so much for the info, I appreciate it. So do you know what happens if I use it and they don't award the points? Will I be able to use it another time? Also, is this type of coupon only once per person, or will I be able to use one that I get in my mail in the future? I just got Optimum Plus about a month ago, and I haven't received any coupons in the mail yet.

Is the 10k bonus pts coupon by invitation only? Or it works for all O+ users?

I was actually denied my 10,000 points last time I tried to combine a 20x day wit the similar coupon.
The cashier took my coupon, scanned it and my points bever showed up.

I called Shoppers CS and they told me "no combining promos", even though their computers for some in store promos will let you.

You can try and bug shoppers for the points,but in my case with spending tons at that store still no extra points...

Yes I did get those points today or yesterday. I made the purchase on Oct. 25. I got the 10,000 points on Nov. 17 or so. So it worked! :)

I just received another coupon with my mastercard bill, spend $30 and get 5,000 points. I will use it this weekend with the 20x event. :)

I also just got my points for the coupon. I used the coupon during the Spend $75, Get 15 000 points event on October 24-25. So apparently in that particular circumstance the points coupon and the point event could be combined. Cool stuff, though in hindsight I was sort of pressing my luck.
