Where can I get gourmet cookies for a good price? The soft ones.
Most grocery stores sell about 10 cookies for $6 to $7!
I do not want to bake them...I want to buy them....in large quantities...and eat them...all

Costco?

Don't know how you are defining "gourmet" cookies. There really isn't anything "gourmet" about soft cookies. However Costco makes some damn good cookies in large quantities.

Hit up a Mrs. Fields and buy their day-olds. They're quite cheap comparitively, though it'll still be about $6!
Otherwise, costco.

If you are into large gourmet cookies, safeway have the jumbo cookies - 12 for $7 or $8. However it's somewhat assorted cookies. I keep my eyes on the white choco macadamia.

Do you mind making a cookie mix?
That way you can add your own ingredients.
The oetker organic cookie mix in chocolate chip is good.
i like it with adding walnuts.
You just need to add egg and butter and it is $3 for the box and makes 24 cookies- but if you add stuff it makes even more (like 30 cookies).
they also have an oatmeal mix which should be good-will try it next week sometime.
I really don't see what is so "gourmet" about cookies with chemicals in them.
I would say go to a bakery. some of the smaller bakeries can be much cheaper.
eating too many cookies at once is bad for you also:lol:

They use a mix for those though,I have seen it for sale in Montreal in pails at their cookie stand/truck.
So, to me they are expensive and not that "gourmet".
They are tasty though...
I think some of the pillsbury might be as good also thesedays
