Hello,
I don't like my current skates so I'm gonna buy new skates this year. I'm 235lb 6"2'. Preferably looking to spend less than $150 (b4 tax). I'll be using for recreational hockey mostly(defence). Which one would you suggest out of these ones: http://www.sportchek.ca/sportchek/do/menu?menuId=207&sortBy=price&order=asc&setSize=12

that just links me to all of the skates that sport chek sells.
The Vapor XXII's are on sale for $199 at sport chek, I know they're out of your price range... but seriously good deal on those.

Try Graf's. Graf's are generally good for bigger guys with a heavy skate. Not sure what the lower end models cost but think there could be a model around 150.

At 6'2", 235lb I wouldn't worry too much about getting new skates or skating for that matter.
As long as you can drop the gloves and clear traffic in front of the net, you will help your team. :)

The Vapours are more durable than the Eastons..so go with the highest Vapours that you can afford

+1 for staying away from Eastons. They are great skates, comfortable, good bang for buck in terms of preformance but they have the worst quality in the industry imo.
