Actually, if you look closely, it's not free shipping this time around, which is kind of unfortunate.

Shipping is still reasonable at $3.60, though. That makes for a $9.59 US total for 2x 15 foot cables.

haha 99.99 regular price. It's like getting 95% off.

Shipping is $3.60 to Ontario. Not bad at all. Better than Monoprice actually considering these are 15ft ones.

This kicks their staff purchase price in the ass!

I guess it's a good length of cable if you have your components quite far from your TV.
I have a stand with the TV on a bar at the back and the stereo and DVD player below it, so I can easily get by with a 6' cable.
I don't know why people would have their equipment so far away from their TV.

If your tv is wall or post mounted, It can be difficult to get a 6' cable to the tv.

Since there are so many sites selling for around $10, they won't sell many at that price!

I ordered yesterday at approx 2pm and shortly thereafter received a "your order is being reviewed" letter.
As of this morning, I still have yet to receive a "yay" or "nay" regarding my order.

The email states that it can take 1-2 days to process, but that seems like an abnormally long time in this day and age of internet commerce.

I've never ordered from these guys before, is this normal?

Yeah they are slow like that. Last time I ordered from them they indeed took a day to process the order, but they shipped it out on the same day.

I can think of a few reasons.

It's good for people with a projector. Also for those extendeable wall mounts as the extra length would create some slack so the cable wouldn't be dangling in the air if the arm is extended out.

Myself ordered on Fri and waited the entire weekend with the only email that order was being reviewed. I emailed the yesterday asking when it would it ship and they replied back later in the evening that it had shipped Oct 19th (same day I emailed them) and it would take 7-12 business days as it goes through customs.

FYI, according to their customer service, even though these cables can transfer at 10.2gbps, they are NOT Category 2 certified.
And although they have a PVC jacket, they are NOT CL-2 rated.

I thought by definition category 2 cables transfer up to 10.2gpbs, so how are these not category 2

Also tried but it seems only one ‘Coupon Code’ per order :
-
i.e.: ‘Please insert Coupon Code/Gift Certificate here before entering the PayPal
payment process. (Only one coupon code is accepted per order)’
-
Don’t know if that phrase includes the ‘Free Shipping Code Over $25’ Code :
‘SHIP25’ . . . but it seems, there's no other place to add a code.
-
Also ‘shawbros88’ above $25, duties might be an unwelcome surprise :?: :!:

Wouldn't that make sense, considering we're international?!

...

yes, that would make sense, however, past orders have always been placed with standard shipping; the international shipping option was for other countries other than the US or Canada. I'm not sure when this change was implemented, but my last order, which was a couple of months ago, and many other orders before that have always used standard shipping and I have always ordered from eforcity because there would be some sort of free shipping promo. the current shipping promo/coupons don't work b/c we are not allowed to choose standard shipping as the shipping method.
