comes with wired optical mini mouse, mini usb cable, mini network cable, usb hub, and a card reader, with a vinyl pouch. the pouch even has pockets for the memory cards / CDs
Original price of $79.99 is heavily inflated, this item was featured at daily curcuit breaker for around $30 a few months back i think.
not bad for $15 for 5 items (roughly $3 dollar+tax for each) and comes with a vinyl pouch. Fits nicely in my messenger bag.
Happy Hunting!

Thanks OP.
I wanted to build myself a vinyl pouch to carry all my netbook accessories (usb cables, ac adapter, usb gps, mouse, etc, etc...) this might work just right.
of course, i don't really need the mouse, but the hub and card reader might come handy. but i may be able to fit all my other things.
will try to pick one up in my area (says it's in stock in the TSCC in nearby towns)

I picked one of these up a couple of years back.
Overall I'm very satisfied (especially since my laptop does not have an SD card reader) however be aware of the RJ-45 cable. The one that I had was almost impossible to take out of an ethernet port. It was so bad that you needed pliers to remove it.

If the "NX" stands for "Nexxtech", as I suspect, then watch out - they are the main reason why TSCC is "The Source for Cheap Crap". A lot of their products are poorly made and often defective.
But this LOOKS like a nice pacage for a first-time laptop buyer - IF the quality is actually there. As a quick check, see if the card reader supports SD HC cards. If not, this is likely old, obsolete stock, as usual.

All I see is "MADE IN CHINA", < $5 made, including labor! :D

The labour would be <$0.50 of that. It's high time the Chinese workers had a revolution against the oppressive bourgoise establishment. Like a Communist revolution, perhaps!
(Just joking. But isn't it ironic that a "Communist Peoples' Republic" is about as close as we can get to 18th century capitalism? At least for the lower worker class anyway. Accept a pittance, or starve on the streets. In all that 18th century-like air and water pollution too.)

I am not expecting much from this. But like I said, I wanted to build my own vinyl pouch and if the size is right... for 15$ it's a nice start. I will most probably discard everything coming with the pouch... especially the mouse... a wired mouse in 2009 for a laptop... what the...?

I haven't been in a Dollarama for a while, but a hunch tells me you should check there. If not in electronics, then perhaps in the toiletries section. Seriously! :)

I agree with the items being out of dated
If you are in the market of high-end fancy laptop accessories, you might want to look elsewhere.
However if you are not fancy about colors and brand and is always on the go, this is a good start, all this items fit into a pouch which is the size of about half a piece of paper. The mouse is about the same size as those hot wheels toy car.
Think of this as if you are getting something from dealextreme or dealperfect. But at least you can return it if you don’t like it.

Thanks for the tip. I will check that the next time I am in a Dollarama.
I went to TSCC this afternoon. The pouch is thinner than I expected so it might have not fit my Netbook's ac adapter, and the card reader was not SDHC compatible, so I passed.

I picked this up today at one of the Toronto Eaton Centre locations as I forgot my mouse at home in Montreal and needed something cheap to use until I get home.
For the price, the quality is good (though the mouse is definitely not for big hands). I have no use for the memory card reader, but I'll likely use the USB hub and RJ-45 cable often.

Does the memory card reader take the Sony Sticks (memory stick duo)?
Thx

Haha, 99% of all electronics are made in China nowdays (including most expensive brand name stuff). I feel sorry for the underpaid workers but prices would skyrocket if they were made elsewhere.
Seems like a good deal, probably a step above the crummy starter kits (http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10105343&catid=20183) from FS/BB. (But only a small step). Hard to believe BB charges $100 for their kit.
