Great price, i recall them going as low as 90 but that was when the canadian was above american dollar, at 100 dollar they're probably the best computer 2.1 you can get. The razor mako and klipsch promedia both have THX certifications (whether its all marketing or not) but one is triple the price and the latter is nearly non-existent anymore. I've owned a pair for 2 years now, still giong strong!

enjoy it.. it is a great set of 2.1s i had it hooked up to my dvd player and sounds quite nice, THX cert if it matters and its not overwhelming. the sub is quite heavy and solid

if u dont want to pm with staples u can use the $10 off $100 from bestbuy as well.

Awesome set of speakers. I bought a pair for about $90 shipped refurb-ed on Ebay a couple of years ago. Still use them today. Great and very clear for just about anything you throw at them.

Note FactoryDirect has refurb for $80 but at this pm price, well worth it to get new for Logitech's great warranty service, 2 years.

Great price on these if you can get them. Looks like they are sold out across most of the GTA. I just picked up a set at Factorydirect after reading many positive reviews. The bass and quality of highs on this set is incredible for the price!

these go on sale regualrly for $99 however it seems to have been a long time. grab em while you can. good buy for good quality speakers. I went for the Klipsch Promedia's instead last time from London Drugs.

I want to try to use the pizza pizza coupon and buy from BB but it keeps quoting me the price without the coupon AND with $66 expedited shipping when I keep selecting ground (which is free). Is anyone else having problems? I have been really wanting to get these speakers :cheesygri.

it should be free ground shipping, not express, for orders over 39.. Also did you have a filler to bring the price to 100? 99.99 isnt 100 dollars so you need a 1c filler or else coupon wont work for sure.

Just wondering, for those who have this set of speakers, are they magnetically shielded from the annoying iPhone buzz?

I'm still using a set of Altec Lansing speakers from 2003, and I get this interference buzzing sound every 10 seconds if my iPhone is placed within 4 feet near either of the speakers...very annoying!

I'm hoping to get a new set of speakers to solve this problem, so can someone please confirm this for me, thanks.

Hopefully this order goes through! My CA 5.1 speakers are doing okay for the past 6 years, but I think I'm okay with switching down to 2.1 for the quality difference!

Tired of waiting for the z-5500 that will never go on sale. :(

I'm sure Z-2300 will blow away your 5.1 CA (CA is cyber acoustics right? most of their stuff suck don't they?).

Quick note, I just went to my local Staples to PM with bestbuy, despite the "out of stock" on the printout I showed them, the rep was nice enough to call to confirm and came back saying Bestbuy did have it in stock so I got the PM!

Very nice speakers..I got a set from Dell about 1.5 years ago for $89 with free shipping..Very good sound for the price and even better after I swapped the included Logitech satellites for some Klipsch satellites..:) I wouldn't hesitate to buy another set of these at this price with free shipping if I needed a set..

There definately are new Z-series stuff coming out, but in terms of power handling abilities, they are no where close to these 200W RMS speakers. And I think the new ones look FUGLY, most likely wont perform as well as these too. Regarding the Z-Cinema and Z-2300, if you like loud volumes, the Z-2300 is much louder than the Z-Cinema, i actually own both. I think the Z-2300 sounds better and the bass is much stronger. The Z-cinema has USB connectivity and a remote, but those features aren't that important. IMO go with the z-2300 especially at this pricepoint.

I saw that also! Red Flag Deals should have a place to keep track of all these deals that don't live up to their billing or all the deals that are reneged on.

This instance is a form of the Bait & Switch ploy where they advertise one product to attract you to the business and then don't have the product so try to sell you something else or at least get you to look at their store and the other products on hand.

They had no "while quantities last" or "limited quantities" disclaimer on the original deal.

It looks like if they don't put it in writing (it doesn't show in the weekly flyer), you can't hold them to it because the online "proof" disappears.

Wow, I feel so lucky!

Saw the RFD post at lunch. Printed the BB price listed at $99.99 then brought it into my local Stooples and succesfully PM'ed at $87.99 + tax. There was one left at the Jean-Talon location in Montreal. (Though YMMV without a printout of the BB price at $99.99)

These are freaking awesome speakers. Awesome clarity and very punchy bass.

And the deal looks over, but never fear - they always go on sale. Just a matter of time before they are $99 or cheaper again, especially leading into the Holiday season.

Yeah thats the thing with logitech stuff especially Z-series speakers, they appreciate in value over time lol.
