I noticed a mod edited one of my posts in another thread, and while that's a different fist-shaker issue, it made part of my post a little hard to understand. If possible, I think it would be great if either a larger disclaimer of a mod edit was apparent on the post instead of the standard italicized text that is easily overlooked. "Edited by _______" - perhaps in red slightly enlarged text?

Next:
On another forum, I noticed a special icon for the "Threadstarter" of the topic. Meaning, if the OP were to post in the same thread -after- the initial topic post it would be readily apparent to other people. I think sometimes we have long winded conversations in threads that can seem to go on for pages and pages it's something easily forgotten. How could this be useful? Well, sometimes OPs ask questions and respond, while in other cases jibber jabber comes in from others and we forget who we were talking to / about.

TLDR:
- Make mod edits more visible.
- Special icon or text for threadstarters that post within their own threads.

I was just going to post a thread regarding this. I think the 'Threadstarter' idea is great. So many times I've had to go to the first page to find out who the OP is.
