Called their Sales toll free number and spoke to some1 at the Wellington store in Ottawa and the Jawbone's are brand new units. You just place an order for 1 Jawbone and when they receive an web order; the order "picker" will automatically put in another Jawbone with the order for a total of 2.

They have a 7 day return policy and Shipping is $6.77 anywhere in Canada.

It's made of plastic, not metal (or gold). Personally, I'd rather have a diff colour than black or silver, which looks like every other BT device.

Same for me. I hate UPS. I'm not home during the day (as I got to work), but it's like a pain in the butt to deal with these folks. Much prefer canada post or purolator. Oh wells, I guess I'll call to schedule a pick up.

I ordered a couple of Jawbone 2 from n1wireless about 10 months ago and they arrived within a week no problems.

That said I have found that the Jawbone 2 does not perform that well in the car unless you get the fit perfect - the sensor that touches your cheek to detect when you are speaking has to be carefully positioned. I note there is a Jawbone Prime now which is the newer improved version.

I love it when it working well but I'm so fed up with the Jawbone 2 that I'm chancing ordering a Plantronics Voyager 855 from n1w which is currently only $35 plus shipping.

Is the plug in the ear supposed to hold it in mainly, or the over-the-ear loop? Both are loose for me so it would definitely fall off easily.

If it fits properly, you shouldn't even need the loop. I had no issue at all using the larger ear piece attachment. The thing fits so snugly, I can move my head quickly, and it doesn't come out of place. To each their own fit...

I just got my 2 on tuesday, and tested one thoroughly while driving, walking in windy conditions, and indoors. It works awesome. Sound quality is great. I'm getting used to using the voice command feature which is a bonus.

Finally got my order. After VERY slow communication. Perhaps it's the RFD effect? Regardless, I doubt I will do any business with them again.

As for the Gold Jawbone, I actually really like the color. The "Bling" is not there IMHO. They are not as bright as they seem in the picture and I find that the gold blends in a little better with my fair complexion than the black ones. Of course, if you were darker skin/hair the color would probably be more noticeable.

Yes, I don't mind mine now. It is more of a matte "pewter" gold, not shiny at all.
