Picked it up at Canadian Tire. Made by Easton, converts to soccer as well.

These games usually gone on sale after the holidays so this must be last years stock or a discontinued model.

Call around, they had some "returns" in their stock, so check the box before you buy.

Wow! This is an awesome deal for $60.

When you say it converts to soccer, do you mean it can also be used as a regular foosball table?

:confused::confused:

Considering a foosball table has the handles on the sides (and there clearly aren't holes for them in the pic), I'm guessing you can use either a ball or puck, maybe with different players.

thanks OP.

Picked one up at the CT on 130th Ave. SE in Calgary.
There were none on the floor, I asked about it (with the SKU) and they pulled one out from the back.

They have 2 more left.

SKU does not work on the website in the Ottawa area - would be a sweet deal - will try and call the local stores and report any success.

Ya, that's probably what it is. You take off the hockey ones, put on soccer ones and use a soccer ball.

For those in Mississauga area, none at Heartland (broken display), none at Dixie/Dundas. Believe there is 2 customer returns at Queensway / $27, one broken, other return condition not aware how it is.

Picked mine up at Queensway / 427 location the first one I picked up was a return. Best to go to your closest store and have them check store stock then they can run a computer check.

Throw down a soccer surface on top of the hockey surface, change to larger size nets, change players, add soccer balls

not advertised, if it was I would have missed out, just happened to be looking for CT to put up their $249 table to see how sturdy it was and stumbled upon display at Heartland showing discount to $60, other 2 stores did not have it on display, tagged price was still $299, but scans in at $60

Well I was sent on Quite the wild goose chase this morning to try and find one of these but after 2 stores and an employee basically telling me I was an Idiot I got one. The SKU that was posted did not work so I had them search for it by Name. Just a FYI The SKU from my receipt reads 084-3824-2

PS The Box is rather large so be prepared for that. ;)

Thanks for posting the SKU, too bad I am running out of room in my game room >:( I've always wanted a rod hockey table but the ones from the arcade made by Chex are just too much and I already have a Fabi foosball table. I will probably check my local CT to see if they have it and I might pick it up and store it.

Called Kanata, they figured out the correct SKU (which I see updated here now), and they saw that it was last received at their store in 2005, and none left in Ottawa area. Would have been perfect Xmas gift for my basement.

Hi guys,

I've had this table for 2 years and here is my opinion on it.

note: here are pics I found on kijiji:
http://stcatharines.kijiji.ca/c-ViewAdLargeImage?AdId=120213694&back=-6&ImageIndex=0

As a hockey table, it's not that sturdy....the "rods" underneath are made of cheap plastic tubes and we broke one. I did get a free replacement part from the supplier but if any of you think you can abuse it like the dome type tables found in arcade forget it. Imagine a plastic rod fully pulled out, that sticks out by about 25 inches, it's quite easy to break. To me, a large table like this should be able to endure some "intense" play; this table can't.

As for the actual game play, the hockey players are not fully level, therefore their stick blades often rubs on the game surface when turning them to take a shot, making it difficult to take a good shot and putting pressure on the plastic rods.

Another problem is that the nets are all the way back, on the board. This sucks cause you can't make passes from winger to winger behind the net. IMHO this really cuts most of the strategic fun out of the game.

Another more minor issue is that the puck is black but so is the playing surface, which makes it difficult to see it well.

Finally, on the soccer side, it simply sucks...the grooves on the playing surface simply make it nearly impossible to make precise passes or shots. Plain dumb if you ask me.

What was supposed to be an awesome b-day gift for my son (got it at 150$ on boxing week sale) is mostly collecting dust in his room but I can't throw it away cause it was a group gift!!!!

Oh, my brother-in-law broke the plastic glass one week after we got it but I don't know how it happened. The plastic seems fragile and not flexible, making it easy to break.

you could be right about the plastic rods, the players on my set are "level", there is an attachment for the net that prevents you from passing behind the net (quite common to prevent dead zones), there is the plexiglass boards which are plexiglass...

guess I'll have to see how long it lasts, if needed I could replace the plastic rods with Al tubing if and when they break

available at Sears.ca, don't know if the rods are plastic or not but the plexiglass, score keeper, legs (but different skirt), overall design looks identical

got one at the newmarket location. they said they had 2 more left. also called sheppard and steels, they said they had 3 in stock.

great deal. think when im tired of it, i'll cut down the legs, get a piece of glass, and convert it into a nice coffee table.

was a pain in the arse to set up though. (especially tightening the legs)

Actually, ours was broken by my son and his 8 year old friends.

This table's flaws make gameplay sucky enough that our son and his friends rarely play it for more than 10 minutes. Like y'all, I couldn't wait to play it with my friends but we simply don't find it much fun.

If you're in the market for this table, check out other models on display at Canadian Tire and Sears, etc. to determine play value and possible durability. It does have a 1 year warranty, others only 90 days. The one at Sears seems very similar so head down there to check it out but hey it sells for much more $$$.

yeah I found the black surface odd, but then it's better to hide the scuffs from the players and the puck

for soccer you lay down a green playing surface

you guys are true RFD'ers, IMHO for $60 you're expecting too much here

Went back for the $10 Promo Card that CT is offering today and Sunday on purchases over $50.

I had to get a refund and repurchase of the table. Took all of 5 minutes and used the promo card to buy something else. It has to be used by Halloween.

So the net table cost was $50.

Thanks OP
