Wife jumped on this deal at Sobeys....Box of same chicken strips, half the size, are usually $9.99. Needless to say our freezer thanked us and our 4 year old loves them.

Are these fillets or processed breast meat?

"uncooked, breaded cutlets made with white meat" right from the box. They are processed.

I grabbed a box a few days ago from Shoppers, they were marked down from $12..unfortunately they are processed and taste like rubber..

Costco has chicken nuggets on sale ( 1.5kg) for like 11 dollars and the meat is not processed and awesome tasting. Buy quality!

I think they might be remanufactured fillets, they have a processed taste/look. They aren't the same as their non-pub style ones which i love. too salty or something for me

The irony is everyone prolly pours a pound of ketchup on them anyways so how can you tell the difference? lol

I made my own sauce out of chinese plum chicken & rib sauce and deli mustard,
the sauce saved it at least somewhat. :)

The best chicken strips I've tasted was at a Target in Florida, fresh, hot pure white chicken breast strips, and cheap to!

Why does food always taste better in the states?

Good deal to me, thanks OP.
Only downside, is buying anything else at Sobeys pretty much killls the savings on these :)

+1 on the ketchup. Even my mangiacake wife who puts ketchup on every goddam thing (eggs, mac and cheese, etc) doesnt stoop to this level :)

A nice plum sauce or thai red chili sauce, or even a garlic mayo/Lick's Guck sauce would be soooo much better.

I ate too many of these once and now I am sick of them, but a good price indeed. Once and a while they hit $4.99

Good deal. We bought the Janes filets (cracked pepper?) 1.1KG at Costco for $9.99 last time but haven't tried them yet. I had never seen this type around but have had the regular Janes filets and enjoy those. We eat the pub style ones too and while they aren't as good or good for you they aren't that bad. I like Honey Garlic Diana's sauce with my chicken fingers or a sweet & sour sauce.
