I have a 3yr old sister with a possible ear infection, and I need to know if there are any walk-in clinics open today within the Morningside and Sheppard area. Any help/advice would be appreciated very much.

Telehealth could possibly tell you. Have you searched via canada411?

just so you know (i just went through this), ear infections are almost always viral, therefore antibiotics are no longer given out right away. i just googled it to get you some info and there are a tonne of links about it, here's one for example:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/16140545/

i know it's american, but it explains it anyway... "watchful waiting' is what they are recommending, unless, from what my doc explained, there are SERIOUS symptoms (like a really, really bad fever, or lethargy or something!). anyway good luck, sorry i went a little off-topic, but i just wanted you to know that unless your sister is REALLY sick, there may be no point in dragging her out to the clinic if the doctor is just going to send you guys back home and have her 'wait' to see if she can beat it on her own!

But most of them are closed on weekends, I'm taking here to the Albany Medical Clinic on Danforth and Broadview.

I know what you mean but she's had a cold for about a week now, but a couple of days ago I'm noticing flu like symptoms (dry cough, soar throat, runny nose, mild fever) and then all of a sudden last night she started to get ear pain and was crying all night. I just wanted to make sure it isn't serious for peace of mind.

ah - then ya get her checked out! that's why (i guess) we shouldn't be 'offering medical advice' when we dont' really know what we're talking about...

i hope she feels better!!!
