For anyone who might have been thinking about the HP P6112f that was posted on Friday, I came across the P6110Y (refurb) for a few dollars less at BB.
Here are the basic specs:
- Pentium E5300
- 6GB Ram (800 MHz)
- 640 GB HDD (7200 RPM)
- Intel GMA 3100 Graphics
- DVD burner with lightscribe
- Windows home premium 64-bit
The CPU is a bit slower, the disk is smaller and it has less RAM but I think with the addition of a proper graphics card, it would be a decent non-gamer machine. The big attraction here is that according to HP's site this one *is* eligible for the free Windows 7 upgrade.
