I picked up the Ultimate Matrix at Wal Mart for $43. The sticker price still says 94 but the shelf price is 42.83.

Isn't this 39.99 at costco? Maybe that's a different set, but it's for the Matrix blu rays

Nope, SCOP is based on shelf price and not sticker price. Unless you're lucky enough to find a n00b cashier and manager.

doesn't matter. since item was tagged at lower price, they have to honour the lower price

The idea of SCOP is they adjust the price and discount $10 max if the item scans in HIGHER than the marked shelf price, not lower.

Thanks, OP, I just snagged a copy from Burnaby; there were no signs of it being 42.xx but it did scan in at that price...unfortunately it's missing a disc...anyone know what Walmart's policy is regarding these kind of problems? :?:

Couldn't find this at the Garden City Walmart in Winnipeg. They have a really pathetic selection of Blu-rays.

They just got some at the St. James location in Winnipeg! The transfer is really beautiful to my amateurish eyes.
This is my 4th copy of The Matrix. (VHS, DVD, Limited Edition Ultimate DVD Set with Neo Bust, Blu-ray). Sigh.

got mine the day after this post, looking forward to watching it this weekend :) was tagged 42 bucks and in their locked cabinet with no prices (I hate my walmart electronics people)
funny each movie includes the digital copy on dvd but the sticker on the front says the digital download ends oct 13th. must be for something else as my code worked when I tested it yesterday.
this was rated 5's across the board on audio and visuals as be far superior to the dvd copy in every way (not some cheap port over) ... http://bluray.highdefdigest.com/300/matrix_umc.html

The Blu-ray versions are the exact same in terms of video as the HD-DVD releases years ago. Those HD-DVDs were on 30GB discs. Good deal on the package despite the 2nd and 3rd installments.
