PM it at NCIX.

$299.95 + $3 shipping, add a $30 Mail in Rebate = $288.09 shipped outside of B.C.

Obviously a TN panel.

Decent review online (http://www.pcper.com/article.php?aid=678&type=overview).. It's a TN panel - just keep that in mind. As the reviewer said it was his only piece of disappointment but was overall pleased.

At NCIX it's $289.99 after MIR (PM opportunity). So good find.

Contrast Ratio is pretty good, 20000:1. I'm on a Samsung with a 3000:1 lol, I need a new one. I can't wait for my other one to come in.

I got a 25$ shipping fee, comes to YOUR TOTAL $347.77 But with that mail-in-rebate I still basically get the shipping free. But also, your deal is Open Box (aka used) and refurbished. I still don't know what one to decide on. lol

Does NCIX match and then top it off with a percentage of difference? IF not why even bother price matching and just buy it from the other place.

This has me tempted to cancel my 24" Acer order

If you do the math (with the shipping to my address) they're 10$ away from each other (discluding MIR) But if you were to add the MIR into it, the price would be cheaper by 30$ so basically, free shipping. But you gotta to the MIR or it's just a 10$ off away deal.

Edit: But keep in mind, the other one that was posted is refurbished and open box'd.

My link: $351.77 - ships in 1day

Other guys link: - ships in 1-2days, open boxed/refurbished.
$344.77
-$30.00 MIR
$314.77

I still can't decide if I want to pay for a used or new monitor.

They have the new one on the site also, it is $379. Thats what I put in for the price match when I went through. http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=39129&vpn=VW266H&manufacture=ASUS

The site said that it was more then a 20% difference and that perhaps I was trying to match an american price and they would invetigate and get back to me.

Couldn't you use a manufactures rebate regardless of where you purchased it from or is it vendor specific?

Check the mail in rebate form, they usually mention if the rebate is specific to a store.

Not a bad deal, but isn't Asus's dead pixel policy something like 8 or more. I've found that in the past NCIX is a real pain to deal with if you aren't satisfied with a product or believe that it's defective.

I was just about to order this with express coverage, then I found the following:

IMPORTANT: Please inspect your merchandise for dead pixels and other defects BEFORE processing and sending in manufacturer's rebates, and other promotional offers. Express Coverage will not be honoured if the product box or UPC code is missing or defaced.

Does this mean that if you want to do the MIR you can't benifit from the 1 year extended warranty ..?

I bought this monitor from NCIX when they had this sale I think couple weeks ago or a month. They also had the $2 shipping then.

I paid about $343 with tax and all and was delivered fairly quickly. I also applied for that $30 mail in rebate. So technically the total cost is about $313

This monitor is really good imo...looks nice from outside and good image quality. I wanted a 1920x1200 res screen and 24" is a bit too small for that resolution...this size is perfect. I use the dell 27" monitor at my lab...which costs like $800+. I honestly don't see the point of spending that much...infact i like this asus one better. .

Ps. no dead pixels or any problem...and physically it looks looks good (unlike the cheaper/older acer ones)

that's what I found, so I guess you can return the monitor in another box ?_? for replacement.

I'm guessing that NCIX offers a pick-up to return the damaged monitor? So I guess you can do that. Just make sure to include the authentic bill and you should be good.

Wish I would have processed my order last night to save $ on the shipping, Tried using the coupon today and it wouldn't work :(

Thanks OP! Got my monitor today, perfect condition no dead pixels and it looks amazing! Windows 7 saw it right away and extended my desktop onto it at 1080P! Wasnt sure if my Dell laptop would handel 2 external displays well but it doesn't seem to have a problem at all. Have one hooked up VGA and the other DVI :-) Can't get it to do 3 though, that would be sweet!

The price on this monitor is awesum and for 95% of the people out there this TN panel will be fine.

LOVE IT, THANKS :cheesygri
