BB: $149.99

Staples: $128.86

Price matched to $126.75
less $30.00 trade in
$96.75 - not as hot as the amazon price error but still not bad.
Traded in a 10yr disposable camera I got for free. Orginally they wouldn't take it but on the ad it said trade in ANY camera. (technically you can go to the dollarshop and buy a $1.00 toy camera but don't push your luck)
Markville would do the price match + trade-in, didn't have time to argue.
Passed by Richmond Hill (Bayview/7) and got it done there.
btw, picked up a $2.00 American Tourister hard camera case for $2.00 at dollarama...perfect fit for the A480.

price error, clearance.... who cares, it's over.
ok....just to make you happy. Not as hot as the amazon "CLEARANCE" (/price error) but still not bad. Happy? Hope that make this a better deal now for those that missed the "CLEARANCE" price.

Sd1100 is much better than this. Just let you guys know you can't do price match and trade in at the same time

SD1100 is a far better camera than this. This is a good point and shoot if you want something that has the ease of using AA batteries and decent picture quality. Both are incredibly easy to use, though.
I had an SD1100 that moved out with the ex, and recently got the A480 for my dad (Amazon clearance/error/deal of the day, whatever you want to call it).
If you just need a basic point and shoot, go for it. It's a good price and a pretty solid entry level. If you're willing to spend a bit more, go for the SD1200 or Avril camera.

ymmv, depends on customer service. The first one said the system would not allow her to take the trade-in price off the price matched price. The 2nd time I tried, the CSR did it without much hassle.
The SD1100 is much better, like the other posters said the A480 is a good point & shoot. It would depend what you are looking for as I just needed this for some casual shots, this was a good choice for me.

thanks guys, that's what I figured. I am still kicking myself for not getting an extra sd1100 for myself for $120 last year.
