Well, I don't know where you're from, but you just missed some good deals at the Toronto Bike Show today.

Ironically, I recently bought an Opus Allegro, which would be comparable to a lower-end Specialized Tarmac. I love how the carbon frame soaks up vibrations.

A retailer at the Bike Show had the same bike left in a M (54cm) and L (56cm). They were asking $2000, which is $50 more than I paid, but I heard them accepting offers of $100 less on similarly-priced bikes.

I can't remember the name of the store, but I could look them up if you want. A similarly-spec'd Tarmac will command a few hundred dollars more, and those are available everywhere.
