Too bad it's 25% off "any one item". It means you can't buy 50 books and get 25% off the total. Might want to add that to the first post.
Still a good deal though. Thanks OP!

I entered two different emails but never got any coupon code, just a thank-you message for joining their email program. Thought it might be due to the fact it is only valid for Nov and they will send it sometime late October.
If you guys have got it, then that is not the case. Can somebody post the coupon for sharing?

On the other hand I'm assuming since it's "item" it should be good on thing that they rarely put on sale ie. Music, movies, gifts none of them carry iPods anymore right?

25% off any one item is a great deal especially since you can always print the coupon again and go into the store another time and use it again.

I JUST checked with my local chapters location and YES it can be used on best-seller title. Wow!! The $35+tax book comes to around $18.xx or $19.xx +tax.

Just calculate the % off that the $1 or $2 is and if it's less than 25% then it's cheaper to use the coupon in store.
I looked at The Zombie Survival Guide it's $15.95 in-store, $12.76 online (or 20% off) plus $7 shipping. So it's still cheaper to buy it in-store with the 25% coupon.

I actually bought a book at Chapters after work on Friday on the way to a friend's place for dinner - then saw this post. I registered, got the email on my iphone and stopped back in at Chapters on the way home. They did a refund and a re-purchase with the coupon. I didn't even need to print it out...just showed her the picture of the coupon on my iPhone and she keyed in the code (which is the same as the one posted earlier). I'm sure anyone can use the coupon - many times over.

there is a 25% off a single item promo code (P8U9Y8R) when you use a MasterCard to complete your purchase. code expires today.
you also get 5% cashback at gcr.
chapters is also giving out mystery gift cards in store. Save $5, $10, etc off your purchase. then on your second purchase save $10, $20, etc. min. purchase each time is $50.

I was able to get this deal as well. picked up a book from the bestseller list. $34.99 --> scanned with 30% discount. Then she scanned the coupon barcode. Another 25% off 35. Ended up paying $15. Ask them to scan and try. It is not really stacking IMO. The book will be 30% off for a few weeks, so it is just the standard discounted price.

And the 30% off isn't really a deal. That's just 30% off their bloated price. After the 30% off, it's what most stores sell the book or DVD for.

i went to chapters today to use the $5/no min coupon...used it, stumbled upon something else i wanted but was out of the $5 coupons. i had a 25% off (good till dec. 24th) which i got in a chapters flyer in my Toronto star this saturday. went up to the cash & used it and much to the cashier's dismay, it took $5 off when the item was only $5.95. she called her manager & another cashier over and looked over other coupons and barcodes and came to the realization Chapters must've made a boo boo and input the barcode for that particular coupon in their computer as a $5 off no min one. so if anyone else has that particular coupon it may just work the same as it did for me today!

Well... the iRewards card is $25 annually but since your $150 ($200 with 25% off) purcahse means you get an extra $15 discount immediately so the real cost of the card is only $10. I probably would've done it.

Yeah, from what I've seen Chapter/Indigo online is pretty much in line with Amazon.ca. Which is probably 30-40% cheaper than Chapters/Indigo B&M.
All the cookbooks I wanted were much cheaper online even with the 25% attached.

The only SW Lego they had in-store was Vaders Tie Fighter $39.99 and then the two battle packs (Assassin's and Clones) but at $17.95, instead of $12.99. Coupon doesn't work for online, unless some stores are carrying a bigger toy department for Christmas.

which locations carry lego? i don't recall seeing it at some of the mid-sized stores around the gta.
Here in Edmonton, the larger Indigo and Chapter stores carry a large selection of toys and games. I picked up Darth Vader's TIE Fighter #8017 $29.99, Alliance Tank Droid #7748 $20.24 and Hyena Droid Bomber #8016 $22.49 (prices before taxes).
