To the professionals out there, any idea why this is happening?

The LCD looks all good while taking the picture, but the pictures have lines across. I am guessing it's CMOS sensors related?

How can I fix it? don't think there is warranty on the camera

Camera model is Sony DSC-T10

Thanks in advance

Pictures proof (those 2 are DIFFERENT pictures, 1st one with Flash on)

something is definitely messed up. take it back for warranty before it gets too late. good luck!

edit: just read you don't have warranty.. sucks..

Every picture you take looks like that?

Try using another memory card, if it still came out like that then the sensor is probably busted

It's weird that it looks so... evenly spaced. I'm not knowledgeable but for it to be across the entire image, evenly spaced.. seems odd that it would be a sensor problem?

T10 has internal memory, so the picture looked like THIS in the "Play" mode already, and I thought maybe it only looked bad on the camera

Then I bought a 1GB MS Pro Duo to try again and load to computer, same thing

I'll try to take what it looks like on the actual T10 LCD screen later

I want to see if fixing it is worth it before selling the camera AS IS

If it's any consolation, the image with the lines makes it look pretty interesting, sort of like those news reels from the war's front line.
