Here's some competition for the $70 external hard drive in today's Dell Days of Deals offer. For today only and while supplies last, Newegg.ca has the Toshiba HDDR320E04XW 320GB 2.5" Vivid White Portable External Hard Drive (3 Year Manufacturer Warranty) - Retail for $63.99 (http://www.anrdoezrs.net/click-749547-10602595?url=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.newegg.ca%2FSpecial% 2FShellShocker.aspx&sid=forums) with free shipping.
The usual going rate for a 2.5" 320GB external hard drive is in the $80 to $100 range, this looks pretty decent. The drive itself also looks quite stylish, if that's something that appeals to you.
If you haven't been following along too closely, Newegg.ca recently opened a Canadian warehouse (http://www.eggxpert.com/forums/permalink/573435/573435/ShowThread.aspx). There is no longer a $1 US brokerage fee associated with orders!

I've been using a Toshiba drive in my laptop for 4 years, and it's still running strong.

Assembling my own external hard-drives have always worked out cheaper for me. A monkey can do it.

I doubt you could assemble a 320GB 2.5inch external for less than the price of this.

yeah but ps3 only takes sata, so if it's ide, it won't work.
