The BOB Revolution 12“ AW
The standard BOB Revolution with 16“ rear wheels

My wife and I are pretty sure we are going to get a Bob Revolution. The two models we are looking at are basically the same except for the wheels.

From what I have read, the 16" wheels are better for off road walking and running. The 12" AW are better for maneuvering.

We are having issues picking one over the other. Do you know if any other benefits to pick one vs the other

We plan on using it for everying - jogging & shopping so we could use the benefits from both sets of wheels.

Wife and I had the same dilemma... We opted for the 16" because it's a little more terrain friendly for where we live. Sure it looks a little more robust in the mall, but if you plan on using the stroller to do jogging and active walking the 16" will be able to accommodate most terrains. Esp. if you plan to do jogging, then it's a no brainer, the AW version doesn't run as smooth.

The other deciding factor for us was for handling different types of weather. We felt that the 16' will probably do better in the snow, rain, etc... Plus I was worried about the spokes getting mangled up in the AW..

IMHO, the 16" version maneuvers just as well as the AW.. What you gain from the AW though, is that it's lighter by I believe 2-4 lbs.. (don't quote me on the weight)..

If you don't plan on using the stroller other than shopping indoors or dry weather, then I probably stick with AW version..

When it's all said and done... pick the version that best suits your lifestyle..

My current dilemma with the BOB is which car seat should I go for, Peg or Snugride 32.. We have the Peg right now, but I am having second thoughts... but that's another topic..

Either should probably be fine; note that anything with a swivelling front wheel (even if it locks) should probably not be considered for more then very light duty jogging - ie, if you are actually a runner and log decent mileage and/or enter races, you might want to look for a dedicated jogging stroller (something like a Baby Jogger, or other fixed-wheel set up). Keeping a good pace with a stroller isn't easy, and the correction required with anything less then a decent fixed-wheel is just a pain over longer distances.

Otherwise, pretty decent strollers - usueable on the trail, beach and in the snow!

We are not runners and won't be winning or entering any sort of races. But even for walks, jogs, or tail hikes I think the BOB would be great.

We have some real nice parks around so the BOB would fit us nicely.

The 16" is going to get the nod I think.

Thanks!
