This punk put a posting to sell his GTX 280 which he claimed to have purchased on kijiji two days ago for $250, now he's selling it for $200. I was semi-interested so I started off by pming him. Seemed like it was someone I purchased from before, so I even offered to have the card picked up from his house like the last purchase.

After many pms, we agreed to $190. I then ask him if he had any other items I was looking to buy for sale. We come to an agreement to transact a CPU/Mobo/RAM/Video card all for $360.

I try and arrange a meetup, he says he's using it so he may not do give me the other stuff, and wants $200 for the video card. Back and forth dialogue, then he says "another guy" is coming tomorrow to pick it up for $210 and demands more or else.

Tell him would give him the $200 but this ain't ebay and that's not good practicing standards on RFD, to have an auction type thread for sale. Says he's able to sell the other stuff but jacks the price up to $400, try and bring it down a bit, he won't budge. Agree to the $400 and tell him want to have it picked up asap, says he's busy, then he says he's not home, he's full of it the whole time, he wasn't going to sell it to anyone and the other system components he says he was currently using and won't sell unless it's worth his while, turns out if you check his threads he had it posted until September for $700.00.

Then to top it all off, he says he's got some goons and he wants to meetup at the sobey's plaza at mccowan/16th his meetup location, I know he's full of it so I ask what time, nothing since then.

Don't nobody do business with this auctioneer clown, he'll try to suck you in and then give you nothing or probably just show up there without the merchandise on him, with one of his "black goons" as he calls them. Check rep before you buy and if someone ain't willing to meetup right away to do the transaction and try's to jack up the price don't go for it.

Let's do our part to keep punks like this off of this forum.

I appreciate your warning and agree that this guy pulled your chain and played games. At least he didn't steal your money or sell broken goods. Unfortunately, since money wasn't exchanged, this guy won't receive a Negative Rating.

Seems like you spent more time on this guy then you should have. My rule is if there is any sign of abnormality, I'm out.

BTW, don't stereotype.

his behaviour isn't nice but do you really need to post his face pic?? you didn't even make a deal with this guy nor got scammed...don't you think about his privacy?

during PMing, anything can happened..sure guy can give you lamb excuses, then you move on...find other seller..

practically, he didn't do anything illegal to you...wasted your time with pming, but didn't you do same thing to me with lowballing? should i post your pic and saying watch out for this low baller?

i am not on his side nor your side, but posting someone's face pic just cuz you got pissed off, is not really nice thing either..

the dude was playing games with me, telling me to find out where he lives and everything, it's not my fault the guy's on facebook with his real name and I pmed him with it as a joke, then he started with the threats, so in case he decides to open another account and come back or if anyone ever deals with him on another site, I posted the same pic he has floating over the internet so you don't deal with him. And I wasn't stereotyping with that remark, I was stating his attitude, I haven't got any problems with asians, matter fact most of my customers and the people I buy stuff off of on here are asians, there's just a lot of the oddballs like this guy. And I didn't lowball you I was actually in the process of pming you to get that card, don't know why you'd say I've lowballed you, have I offered you 30% of your asking price or something? No I don't think so and we've already got a price in tact.

Sometimes people decide that they don't want to sell something or they can't afford to sell it for the suggested price and it is their right to do so. Why are you trying to burn this guy alive? Sure it was inconsiderate but its a far cry from the oust this guy is getting right now. Not to mention your racist comments..

CLEARLY OP IS NOT UNDERSTANDING A WHOLE SITUATION.

1. he didn't scam you or you guys didn't even make a deal.

2. you felt he played with you...THIS DOESN'T MEAN YOU HAVE ANY RIGHT TO POST SOMEONE'S INFO OR PIC ON PUBLIC WEBSITE

3. this can lead you to serious privacy matter..the guy can actually sue you in the worst situation..what are you going to say in the court? "the guy was trying to play with me" ????

4. DON'T SEND THE PM AND SAYING "you related to this guy or something? "

5. I WON'T COMMENT ON YOUR RACISM

stop using the word "the" in every sentence when it's not even supposed to be there. In terms of this guy, it scared him enough not to do deals like this again. Will send pm to mod to lock.

Agreed, OP sound like he has a vendetta - angry over a video card. Too much anger in this thread and that dude doesn't deserve to have his photo posted here. He may be a jerk but OP crossed the line - spooky.

that dude learned a valuable lesson, that is not to play with people, secondly if you're going to push someone and ask them to find out info on you, don't have your your info posted on public websites. The only thing on here is just his nickname. The only lines I cross are on Thursdays with TNA impact and the only vendetta I have is against OCZ because their hsf is a you know what to install on cpus lol. I'm actually quite a pleasant person to deal with, but if you're going to not be responsible and start uttering threats against someone you have to be held accountable.

Don't be daft. The picture was already on Facebook; there is no privacy issue.
