a friend and i have always joked that the sister forum for hot deals was a forum where we'd post things that we bought that were just rip offs because we had to take them.

things like:
-needing to get an hdmi cable for a presentation and only having the monster one available.
-a $3000 flight because it was the next day
-$15 for toilet paper because you were ALL out.
-non-returnable purchases your spouse/other bought.

basically a forum to gripe about terrible deals that you had to take. maybe even have an option to post in it anonymously :D

Other good examples would be maybe really bad deals that are advertised as good deals which people should avoid.

Example: The ad says "Buy 2 for $3!" but the usual price is actually $1.25 each.

Would also be funny to see the cold deals posted in Hot Deals moved over to such a forum. Would be good for a laugh. Doubt it will happen though.

Starting a sub forum makes sense in the sense that it wouldn't directly affect sponsors. Currently, many sponsors actually lock their deals thread to prevent Thread Crapping or RFDers post opinions before the sale begins...not what the retailer wants having spent money on RFD advertising.

However, if we have a Cold forum, we can have a bit of fun (tongue & cheek) blowing off steam. Everyone will know it's harmless and doesn't affect advertisers.

Just post it in the "shopping forum".
People post stuff that cheezes them there all the time.
