Hi guys,

I want to know your opinion about Armadale Montessori School in Markham (120 Rouge Bank Drive). Major intersection is Legacy and Rouge Bank.

So nobody's kid goes to this school? And nobody has heard anything about this school?:(

It's your typical Montessori school, but it all depends on the teacher that your kids get. Location-wise it's better than being in a basement of some facility! My kids go to their original branch at the Armadale Community Centre (Denison & McCowan).

So how you and your kids like the Denison & McCowan one?

Eldest is picky about her teachers but loves this one after a few days of crying and throwing up -- which is normal. Wife was so inspired she became a Montessori teacher. My only annoyance is that they sometimes take the kids to the playground when it's cold, but maybe I'm spoiling them. Toughen them up a bit ;)

Not a big fan of Montessori schools since my son was kicked out of one in Victoria many years ago. So much for being individual focused. He went into a community preschool right after, did well, and remained there till Kindergarten. Had a lot of faith in Montessori till then. Guess its really a YMMV thing when it comes to kids.
