I am trying to search for 'PC Games' on BST videogames forum but typing in 'PC Games' in search returns lots of threads with word 'Games' in it while 'PC' by itself is too short of a search term.

How can i restrict the returns to threads containing both terms together?

You can't search for "PC." The searchable database only includes words of 3+ characters. It doesn't search the actual posts, it searches an index of keywords and 2 character words are not included.

put it in quotations. It`ll search for the exact phrase in them...
