Hi guys,
they have free Don Jail tours this weekend. There is hardly anybody here. It was advertised through community mailouts but the weather/doors open crowds have left us with lots of capacity for more visitors (see pic below). Tours run from 9am-4pm. Come on out and visit, this is the absolute last weekend ever that it will be open to the public.

When did you get the flyer? Did it have any other information on it? Such as, call to rsvp or just show up, etc? Thanks!

I'm a volunteer tour guide there. Flyers were delivered to area residents. Very few people are actually coming out. We had tours go with just 2 (!) visitors today. You can just show up, walkups are fine.. They've posted some signage on Broadview just North of Gerrard to try and drum up attendance.

damn, i wanted to go there too.
i don't think that it's shutting down, though.
They are transitioning it over to offices for the hospital.
It should be considered a historical landmark and kept in its curent state :(
