In Markham styrofoam is not allowed in blue bins, but are accepted at recycling depots.
So it would seem...but I've seen many people on my street pile take-out boxes on top of their recycling box and they get collected anyway.
So, does that mean it's ok to put styrofoam in the recycling? lol
Reason I'm asking is because we've been throwing them in the garbage, since we don't get them often. Not worth the trip to the recycling depot every couple of months anyway. So if we could just throw them in the blue bin that'd be great, save us the hassle and is better for the environment.
Thanks
