Hi,

I guess I should have made this my first post - but I was too eager to find out what people thought about good quality phones.

I have been watching the computers forum for several months now, ever since I overpaid for an Eeepc 701 and 1000H (I had to have the first ones in country!) Now that I know I can get them for literally half of what I paid for them, I have been paying much closer attention to the RFD forums, and advising friends as well.

I should have joined earlier to give people hands-on advice on the EEEPCs. Oh well.

RFD has cost me $100 in damages as I already bought one of those 1 TB hard drives that was advertised. It is always hillarious to go into the computer stores and ask what they want for a product (like an Acer Aspire 1 - $400 are you kidding me?) when we can get prices for what they should be here.

I feel like Canadian retailers are like OPEC, so I am happy to see the bunch of heroes here.

Great to see the computers forum has helped you!
Just watch your spending on RFD as it can get out of hand quickly!
Welcome to RFD!

Thanks, I forgot to mention that RFD is also responsible for my buying a $6 U.S. (I think it was about $9 CDN by the time it came here) 50 foot Ethernet cable - which was a great deal!
