Just recently installed the HDTV OTA antenna and would like to hook it up to the HD Ready TV. Has anyone tried the Kworld Tuner (see link)? Is it good?
I can't find anything else which I can pick and try in the local stores.

Any comments/suggestions?

Thanks

Nice on paper w.r.t. functionality and price.

I have a KWORLD PCI-120 ATSC tuner and it is a POC. Not quite as bad as the HVR-1600 for reception but it is not reliable. It was also good on paper : the kit was only $40 and it included ATSC, NTSC, FM, Video-IN, Remote and ArcSoft Total Media 3 which is a clunky but 'full function' PVR. The remote is not VMC compatible.

Your other option is the Digivave ATSC HD box for roughly the same money.

Either way is good and you'll be a guinea pig and please post user feedback to help others:cheesygri

My friend got this same tuner about 2 weeks ago for use with his 42" HD monitor and cheapo CM 4221 clone antenna. It's hooked up via dvdi for video, rca for audio.

He's very happy with it and gets the major US and Canadian channels. His signal strength is good and he's very pleased with the picture and receiption.

Just be aware of the fact that the tuner only supports stereo sound, not 5.1.
