Hello,

We just changed the directory structure of the site, so if you come across any broken links or bugs, please post them here.

Thanks!

Quick synopsis of what's changed/upgraded, please? I'm noticing the Permalink attached to every post now.

When using the mobile site or iPhone app, selecting a Forum category brings you to the full site instead of the mobile optimized version of the Forums.

We installed vbSEO, so all of the links on the site have new URLs. They should all redirect properly, but let us know if they don't.

Thanks, will look into that one.

Is the Forum Jump on the bottom of the page hidden on purpose when viewing as a guest?

I would like it back when I'm not logged in.

On the mobile forum the images for smileys aren't showing up properly and instead show up as question marks.

And when you look at a users profile on the mobile forum the images in the top right corner are also showing up as question marks.

We have the mobile forums half working at the moment. We're working on a more comprehensive fix.

Not really liking the new naming convention. Was able to jump to different forums much easier by just typing the forum number is the past. Then again, I guess that only applies to the few that remember them

Should be "fully" up and running now everyone!

The new naming convention is "search engine friendly". Insider tip is that you can still change the "f[forum number]" and it will redirect accordingly... but shhh!!!

When trying to Quote, or edit a post in Safari 4.0.2 a blank page loads, and I have to press refresh to make it load. Sometime I have to press refresh multiple times before the page will actually load. Each time the bottom left side of the window says "connecting to" and then just stops if it isn't going to load, or finally loads the page.

PS: I just edited this post and it worked right away.

The mobile forums are for mobile devices (phones), not desktops

This thread started by RedFlagDeals has a misspelled subject line and does not state which retailer is involved:

Edit: Thanks for fixing. :)

I would like to bring this point back up since the Admins seem to be ignoring it. I guess the forum jump menu will be disabled forever unless logged in?

FYI:
If you go into the Tag Search (http://www.redflagdeals.com/forums/tags/), it will give autocomplete suggestions for non-existent tags.

For example, if you type "Oma" it will offer "Omar" as an autocomplete option. But if you search for that, it tells you that there's no such tag.

It should have been back for more than a week.

No, the forum jump isn't back yet. You should try it yourself after clearing cookies, cache, etc. Maybe it's related to you having a direct connection to the server?

OP doesn't specify anything about mobile forums, and I'm not using the mobile forums anyway. Either way it doesn't seem to be happening anymore.

Ahhh... there was an issue with the setting getting over written. Think it should be fixed permanently now.
