For anyone in need of a cheap DVD player, I noticed BB had the Insignia DVD Player (http://www.bestbuy.ca/catalog/proddetail.asp?logon=&langid=EN&sku_id=0926INGFS10099043&catid=20208) on sale from $39.99 to $29.99.
I went to the BB at Yonge/Dundas and they had no stock. I decided to check to see if FS did and to my surprise they had quite a few still at the $39.99 price point. PM'd with no problem for at total of $26.99 before taxes.

I bought one of these awhile back. Didn't work right out of the box. Ridiculous.

gotta love these dimwits with no math skills at the till:D
You should've only gotten $1 rebate since 10% of $10 is usually $1 so $28.99+tx...
Happens to me all the time that they mess up on the PM's because they need a Calc to get the price difference and the to hard thinking and few tries to "calculate" the 10% of that:D
Don't they teach the little multi up to100 (1x1=1, 2x14=28, 50-15=35 etc)anymore in the first grades:confused:
But yeahh always lots of fun

Just tested mine, and it seems to be working fine. I was surprised at how good looking unit this is as compared to the cheapo plastic DVD players you usually find at this price point.

WM has a Sony DVD player for a whopping $39.99. Wouldn't you rather spend the extra $10 for a better brand? Not sure why/how this Insignia is a deal.
