how do i create backups like the ones that come in notebooks?

like when the computer starts, it has press f11 and then you can do a factory restore, or windows restore, is there anyway i could do it, or is it the firmware within the motherboard?

It is a recovery partition on the hard drive.

Most laptops come with a factory installed back up utility program, you can used that or buy one to create the recovery disks.

im not sure about other backup progs but in acronis, you can have it back everything up, then automatically create a separate secured bootable partition where you can access at bootup with the push of a button just like thing that comes with many computers these days
