Does anyone know, are those little speakers wireless? The reviews I have looked at say "Included components: wireless speakers"? Would be awesome, would also explain why Sony has them listed at $899.99.

Still very tempted, if the sound is good, small speakers and space saving unit, very appealing.

These Sony DAVIS50BM @ $299.99 online only are not bad for the price. I bought these last year and there worth it for $299 good for a gaming room or bedroom. What sucks is it doesn't convert your DVDs to HD . But I mostly use them for gaming. If you wanna wait and spend more $$$$$ the bluray version is coming out or it is not sure. I believe the speakers are wireless.

So, even though you are running through HDMI, it doesn't up convert? WTF? It would have been a sweet deal if the rear speakers were wireless... The room I want to put it in, would be difficult to run rear wiring in...

i got Logitech x-540 (5.1 setup) but fake 5.1 sound when i connect to xbox.

so i'm looking for an upgrade with optical.
