SDM just started carrying them, and I believe they are the only ones still. They sell the small bags for $1.49 and the large for around $3.50 but go on sale quite often. They are widely available in the US for around the same price.

$3.29 at one Shoppers, $3.49 at another.

In montreal 1 month ago the "large" bags were $1.79 on sale
and small tiny bags have been in Shoppers flyer for .99 in sept back to school sale.

A local Shoppers has the large popchips for .99 and the sale was supposed to be till Sept 28th and they would not even honour their own sale also.
The price for t his item scanned at .99 for around 3 weeks, then they took the sign down :(,took the sign down before the sale was over I should clarify.
sign said .99 till Sept 28 and was taken off Sept 14 about...

The bbq flavor is good, but very over spiced I find. too much bbq powder, so only eat if you like tons of bbq powder on your food.

Salt and vinegar flavor is good, but not strong flavor at all, very weak vinegar flavor and not too much salt at least

Salt and pepper flavor, is ok should have read ingredients before buying but was expecting just salt and pepper as flavor and they have added garlic to it which is ok if you like garlic.

Out of the 3 I bought the only bag i have not finished is salt pepper flavor and will not buy that one again.
Now salt pepper flavor is good, just not to my liking so others might like it though.

Shoppers does seem to have sales on these quite often it seems.

does it taste more like chips or rice cakes?

Reminds me of the quaker crispy minis but without the corn taste.

Kinda like rice patato "puffs" a little.

No actual patato taste as they use patato flakes.

I like that it is a natural snack, but very over spiced like crispy minis though but without msg or artificial colours...

I would barely call them "chips", texture is like those Asian "shrimp crackers" or prawn crackers exept these are not fishy.

I just bought some asian prawn crackers for $1 something and you do not need to fry them like they say on the box.
You can just microwave on a plate for 30 seconds at a time and they are just like popchips without the seasoning.
ingredients for mine also list "patato starch".

if you want a cheaper snack than popchips get the prawn crackers and microwave youself, so much cheaper and tons less salt also.

popchips are super salty.

Now I like popchips, but for $4 reg a bag and the inconvenience of only 1 store carrying them around here?

I'll take the shrimp chips for $1 a big box and add my own extra flavors :)

Now that i think of ot popchips texture reminds me of styrofoam packing if you were to actually eat that w bbq flavor, lol
