how? I've looked everywhere, the cheapest price is futureshop, are they're any sites where I can get it shipped from?

I was actually thinking that was a good price, until I found out bestbuy.com (US) has it for 1799.99$ :!:

I think the worst part is that since it's selling so well at futureshop (most of the stores in toronto are sold out) that I wonder if they're ever going to match the US price (exchange rate is like 96 cents for every dollar right now)

It won't be a real price match, but you can always hassle the price like op did

Yep I know they won't price match US stores, I was just saying it'd be nice if the manufacturers brought the price down like they did a couple years back when the dollar was last seen doing this well (we're upto 1 cad = .97 usd) but since it's sold out at a lot of stores, it looks like they have no need to drop it further...

Here's hoping that they bring it down just a little bit more for the holidays heh

Does the B610 come even close to the B750???

Essentially the same panel, less features, different look and sound

Loving my b610 I got thanks to futureshop's pricing error a couple weekends ago. And sound doesn't really matter since it came with a Samsung HTIB. I even managed to return the blu-ray player for a full refund (399+tax - what a ripoff for a blu-ray player when the PS3 is 299) because of the way they had done my bill.

The B610 is a great TV. Really recommend it. A friend of mine who installs TV's on the side even tells me he likes it almost as much as the LED TV's.

As to the question at hand, isn't the B750 240hz because the B610 is 120hz. Not that I think that'd make much of a difference anyway but might make a difference to you.

There's a "panel lottery" (http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showthread.php?t=1178897) with Samsung LCD's nowadays, they no longer strictly use S-PVA (Samsung/Sony) panels, they now use A-MVA (AUO/AU Optronics) and S-MVA (CMO/CHI-Mey Optoelectronics) as well, and there are differences in quality.

I see; that's why I always recommended 650 and up
